The workshop was held on 14-16 June 2016 at IIT. It meant to help set up the environment and familiarize everyone with use of the Orocos framework and Gazebo simulator. After the 3 days of workshop everyone was able to create his own Orocos module and interface with the COMAN robot inside Gazebo simulator. Conceptually the same interface (with small modifications) will be used later on the actual COGIMON platform.
The Workshop was presented collaboratively by UniBi and IIT. It was started by an introduction to Orocos, installing all the dependencies which are required and continued by simple examples using Orocos, gazebo simulator, RSB and COMAN model.
